When Bill approached Ethos about its employee rescuing and executive coaching services, he was frustrated. He hired Brad almost five years before, and Brad came to the organization on fire. He met every deadline and exceeded every expectation for production. But Brad had one problem – he could not communicate with his colleagues, and Bill knew that he should not place him over a work team because the communication problem would kill the team’s motivation.

Susan came to Ethos to discuss Janice, one of the "sharpest tools in the shed." Janice graduated top of her class from an Ivy League university and demonstrated great potential at the organization. Most of Janice’s leadership skills were good and she wanted a future with the company, but she had an attitude that kept others from following her.

We all have worked with individuals like Brad and Janice – people who have super skill sets, but demonstrate attitudes and behaviors that destroy their chances to become the leaders that our organizations need.

Ethos has a plan to rescue those employees and enhance their image and leadership skills for your organization. The extensive, four-phase strategy includes:

  • Face-to-face assessment of the employee utilizing a variety of personality, social orientation, and learning indicator tools
  • One-on-one coaching designed to address the symptoms and issues identified in the face-to-face assessment and from employer/supervisor evaluations
  • Feedback on each coaching session that includes a detailed report of the session along with observations, concerns, and recommendations – all delivered to the employer/supervisor within 72 hours of the session
  • Continued advice and support for the employee after the coaching plan is completed for up to ten years.

Ethos believes that leadership matters. Whether improving an executive’s ability to lead a highly diverse workforce, helping executives get back on track and move forward, or increasing the capacity of individuals to assume more complex responsibilities, Ethos knows that better leaders get better results and wants to help you and your organization achieve the desired outcomes.
